Terms of Service
Version 1.2
Effective October 12, 2026
The agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Break Global Inc. for using KAI — the apps, the device management profile, and breakglobalinc.com. Using KAI means you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.
How we handle information is covered separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
- Give us accurate details and keep them current.
- There is no password. Your phone holds the key to your family and the family PIN guards the app. Keep both the device and the PIN to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Using KAI with a child
By creating a child profile you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian and that you consent to the collection described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for telling your child, in a way they understand, that the device is managed and what KAI can see.
KAI is a tool for a family that has agreed to use it. It is not a substitute for supervision, and it must not be installed on the device of someone who has not consented and is not your minor child.
Managed devices
Enrolling a device installs a management profile that applies the restrictions you configure. You may remove it at any time from the device or from your account. Removing it ends enforcement and reporting immediately.
Payments
This prerelease version of KAI is free. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Before we charge for anything we will publish the paid terms here and in the app, and give you at least 30 days’ notice.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Install KAI on a device belonging to an adult, or to a child who is not yours, without their knowledge and consent.
- Use it to harass, stalk, or coerce anyone.
- Try to break, probe, or overload the service, or work around its limits.
- Resell it, or use it to build a competing product.
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
Who owns what
We own KAI — the software, the name, and the design. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it while you hold an account.
You own what your family puts in: profiles, rules, tasks, check-ins and photos. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it back to you, and run the service.
Warranties and liability
KAI is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us, if anything, in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
Close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us. When an account closes, data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
